Proud to be part of the American Cancer Society committee and the Washington Golf Classic, supporting a cause that’s deeply personal to me. I’m a Seattle native, now living in Greenwood with my wife and our three young kids, and I work with Ewing Foley supporting customers across the Pacific Northwest.
My commitment to this mission comes from my mom’s battle with cancer. She was given six months to live but fought for five years, thanks in large part to access to experimental treatments made possible by organizations like the American Cancer Society and Cancer Care Alliance.
I’m passionate about helping others facing a cancer diagnosis find hope, access treatment options, and ultimately celebrate more time with the people they love.
I am proud to be involved with the American Cancer Society’s Washington Golf Classic Tournament. This is a truly great cause to support, and I believe deeply that what we do—raising funds for cancer research and patient care—matters immensely. The fight against cancer is not one that can be won by individuals, but by a unified community. We can only succeed together, and that is why I choose to support the ACS.
My commitment is personal and spans decades. Nearly 50 years ago, I remember the neighbor across the street who died from breast cancer, a tragedy that showed me at a young age how devastating and indiscriminate this disease can be.
Decades later, I saw the impact of research and care firsthand. When my own mother faced breast cancer nearly 35 years after my neighbor’s passing, she survived. Her survival is a testament to how much things have changed and the progress we’ve achieved through dedicated support.
Despite these advancements, cancer continues to take people from us far earlier than it should. While treatment and care are undoubtedly better now, we still have a long way to go to make cancer universally curable and manageable. Our continued support is essential to maintain this momentum and ensure that future generations can benefit from even greater progress.
